Sheepskin rug sets

Two or four separate single skins, bought together for less than buying them one at a time. They are not sewn, so you place them where you want.

More about our sheepskins+

A set is the cheapest way to get four sheepskin rugs, and the most flexible way to get two. Two singles are $135 together instead of $158. Four are $245 instead of $316, which works out at $61.25 a skin. Nothing else changes: the same genuine New Zealand Merino, the same 30-day returns, the same shipping from inside the USA.

What you actually get

Separate skins. That is the whole point of a set. Each one is a full sheepskin rug of about 35 in, and they arrive loose rather than stitched into one panel. Put them side by side and you have a longer run of fleece. Split them up and you have covered two chairs, or a chair and a bedside. You can change your mind in November and change it back in March.

  • The Pair - two sheepskin rugs, about 35 in each, $135
  • Set of Four - four sheepskin rugs, about 35 in each, $245

A set, or a sewn rug?

If you want one continuous surface, buy a sewn rug instead. Our double sheepskin rugs join two skins into a runner of about 67 x 24 in for $135, the same price as The Pair, and our large sheepskin rugs join four into roughly 67 x 43 in for $249, which is $4 more than the Set of Four. A sewn rug lies flatter and reads as one piece. A set is more flexible and easier to move around. Same skins either way, so it comes down to how you want to use them.

Curly or longwool

Curly is the short, dense fleece. It holds its shape, shows less dirt and takes almost no maintenance, which is why it tends to end up on the chairs that get used every day. Longwool has a deep 2-3 in pile you sink into, and it is the one people put by the bed. Both are Merino, both are naturally tanned and mulesing-free. Every set comes in one color across all the skins, in eight longwool shades and four curly ones.

Care and delivery

Shake and air them, spot-clean marks with a damp cloth and a little wool detergent, and keep dyed colors out of harsh sun. There is more in our sheepskin care guide, and measurements in the size guide. Both sets clear the $99 threshold, so shipping is free and tracked, sent from within the USA.
