The Nordic Sheep promise
Nordic Sheepskin · Set of Four
About this set
Four full sheepskins at $61.25 each, instead of $79.
Four separate skins, each about 35 in long. Enough for a run of dining chairs, or to lay out as a soft patch on a hard floor without committing to one large sewn rug. Because they are loose, you can move two of them somewhere else for a while and put them back later.
Pick curly for a short, dense fleece that stays tidy and shows less dirt, or longwool for a deep 2-3 in pile you sink into. Both are genuine New Zealand Merino, naturally tanned and mulesing-free. The color you choose applies to all four skins.
If you would rather have one continuous piece, our sewn Curly Quad and Longwool Quad join four skins into a single rug of about 67 x 43 in, for $249. The set costs a little less and can be split up and moved around. The sewn rug is one finished piece that lies flat.
A note on grade: we specialize in seconds, also called B-grade skins. That grade is about appearance, not quality. A skin might have a slightly irregular shape, or a little variation in color or fleece across it, and that is enough to keep it out of the very top premium grade, which is judged on strict looks. The wool is just as soft and the hide is just as strong. It wears and lasts exactly like a top-grade skin, and the small cosmetic mark is the only reason the price is lower.
Note: Dyed colors can fade in UV light. The ivory color is the natural color of the sheepskin.
What is in the set

How to care for your sheepskin
Shake and air them regularly to keep the fleece full. Spot-clean small marks with a damp cloth and a little wool detergent, then let them dry naturally away from direct heat. Keep them out of harsh sunlight, as dyed colors can fade in UV light.
Frequently asked questions
Are the sheepskins sewn together?
No. Each one is a separate, full sheepskin, so you can arrange them however you like. If you want one continuous piece instead, look at our sewn Double and Quad rugs.
Do they all come in the same color?
Yes. The color you pick applies to every sheepskin in the set.
How do I care for them?
Shake and air them regularly. Spot-clean marks with a damp cloth and a little wool detergent, then let them dry naturally away from direct heat. Hand wash in cool water if a skin needs more than a spot clean, and skip the tumble dryer.
Will the colors fade?
Dyed colors can fade in direct UV light, so keep them out of harsh sun. Ivory is the natural, undyed color and is the most light-stable.
Is it genuine sheepskin?
Yes - real Merino sheepskin sourced from New Zealand, not synthetic.
