About this sheepskin
Experience the ultimate in coziness with our dyed Merino Sheepskin.
Ideal for any home, this sheepskin is known for its softness, density, and smooth texture. It fits perfectly on sofas, office chairs, or dining chairs. Dyed and naturally tanned, it is a must-have for the cool months, offering warmth and comfort. It is mulesing-free.
A note on grade: we specialize in seconds, also called B-grade skins. That grade is about appearance, not quality. A skin might have a slightly irregular shape, or a little variation in color or fleece across it, and that is enough to keep it out of the very top premium grade, which is judged on strict looks. The wool is just as soft and the hide is just as strong. It wears and lasts exactly like a top-grade skin, and the small cosmetic mark is the only reason the price is lower.
Note: Dyed colors can fade in UV light. The ivory color is the natural color of the sheepskin.

How to care for your sheepskin

Frequently asked questions
How do I care for it?
Shake and air it regularly, and spot-clean marks with a damp cloth and a little wool detergent. Brush gently to keep the fleece fluffy.
Will the colors fade?
Dyed colors can fade in direct UV light, so keep it out of harsh sun. Ivory is the natural, undyed color.
Is it genuine sheepskin?
Yes — this is real Merino sheepskin sourced from New Zealand, not synthetic.
Can I use it as a rug or a throw?
Both. Lay it on the floor, drape it over a chair or sofa, or add it to a reading nook.
How does it feel against bare skin?
Sheepskin is breathable and handles moisture well, so it stays comfortable to sit or lie on. Wool is a natural fibre though, and some people find it a little prickly against bare skin. If you know wool bothers you, try a small area first.
